call for entries: "new to knoxville" exhibition

The Arts & Culture Alliance of Greater Knoxville announces a call for entries for “New to Knoxville”, a juried exhibition developed to give artists who are new to Knoxville and surrounding counties the opportunity to showcase their work in the Emporium Center.
Artists must have relocated within the past two years to Knoxville and the following counties: Anderson, Blount, Campbell, Cocke, Grainger, Jefferson, Knox, Loudon, Monroe, Morgan, Roane, Scott, Sevier, and Union.
The postmark deadline for entries is Monday, December 7, 2009.
Entries must be original works in the following categories: Painting, Graphic Arts, 3-D, and Photography.  Artists may submit up to three entries in the “Individual” category or up to ten works in the “Portfolio” category.  Juror: David Butler, Executive Director of the Knoxville Museum of Art.
