Ossoli Circle ushered in autumn with its annual Replacement Benefit Bridge Party on Monday, October 26, 2009. The party goers were greeted by Ossoli President Susie Kelley and First Vice President Janice Hixson, and ushered into the main hall for bridge and other card games.
At 11:00 a.m. the chairwoman for the day, Ms. Linda Oliver welcomed all members and guests and invited them to continue card playing while concurrently enjoying a fashion show.  Dillard’s of West Town provided the latest fall styles and a colorful presentation.  Style coordinator Kim De Ropp, assisted by Blane Parker, handled the logistics and acted as Master of Ceremonies.  Models were selected from the Ossoli membership.
At noon everyone enjoyed an excellent buffet luncheon, after which they continued with their games.  Betty McKeehan was lunch chairman, and she was assisted by Ossoli members including Frances Wooten, Jeanie Watts and Stephanie Wayland.
The final event was the closing of bids for the silent auction and the announcement of winners for the door prizes.  Mary Mintz chaired the silent auction, which was highly successful.
There were many others who worked behind the scenes.  Madeline Bilbrey, Carol Proaps, Marion Bloomer, Janice Hixson, Susie Kelley, Bett Greene and committee, Marty Jordan, Elizabeth Koester, Jo Webb and her committee all contributed to this delightful event.
