The Science Club of Seymour High School worked Tuesday, April 22, Earth Day, to clean up a section of the Dudley Creek

According Renée Hoyos, Executive Director, TN Clean Water Network, the kids found enough trash in a 300’ stretch of Dudley Creek  to fill a pick up truck.

Clean-up activities occurred between 9:30 a.m. and 12 noon.

Hoyos supplied the pictures of the Seymour students cleaning up.

Just exactly where is Dudley Creek? I used to have a dog named Dudley. I found him wandering the parking lot at Dudley Hodges' grocery store.

Dudley Hodges closed a long time ago, at least the original owner. Wonder what happened to him? There was a sign saying closed for back taxes. That was back in the late 70's.
