A warrant has been issued for Dayton Allen Myers, 46, of Sevierville for fleeing the scene of a crash with injuries and driving with a revoked drivers license.
On November 28, 2007, a single vehicle accident occurred when the driver with two passengers was headed east at the 1500 block of Dupont Rd. and had entered a left hand curve when the vehicle went off the shoulder. The vehicle hit a rock and ditch embankment and flipped one and a half times. Myers, the driver of the 1991 Ford Bronco, crawled out of the vehicle and left the scene on foot. The two passengers, a nine-year-old boy and his father Jimmy Johnson were injured and transported by ambulance to UT Medical Center where they were treated and released.
The Sevier County Ambulance Service, the Dupont Fire Station volunteers and the Sevier County Sheriff’s Department responded to the scene.
