september better breather’s club meeting scheduled

Do you or someone you love suffer from chronic lung disease? Join Fort Sanders Sevier Medical Center as we host the American Lung Association’s Better Breathers Club in Sevier County. This support group will meet regularly to share tips and techniques about better managing lung disease. The next meeting is Tuesday, September 9, 2008, Noon, at Sevier Senior Center (1220 W. Main Street, Sevierville). Stephanie Beals, RD, LDN, Dietitian, will discuss Nutrition & Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease.

The first step in living with lung disease means learning about lung disease. Join others with chronic respiratory disease, and join the American Lung Association Better Breathers Club. The support group is free of charge, and participants are asked to bring a potluck dish to share for lunch. Please pre-register by calling 429.6722.

*Those who may be interested include: any patient with a diagnosis of Asthma, COPD, bronchitis, lung cancer, or any other lung disease.
