seymour resident named ms. tennessee jr. teen

Seymour resident Angela Karl was crowned Ms. Tennessee American Jr. Teen 2008-2009 this past weekend by last year's 2007-2008 Queen, Jaclin Torrento, of Springfield, Tennessee.

As the new Ms. Tennessee American Jr. Teen, Karl will represent the state of Tennessee in the Jr. Teen division at the National Pageant held in Orlando, Florida in November.

This is Karl's second title. As Ms. Tennessee American Preteen, Karl held several fundraisers for the local animal shelters and helped raise awareness of animal needs in East Tennessee.

Scoring for the Ms. Tennessee American Coed pageants is based on personal introduction, interview and evening gown competition.

I don't know Angela (or Joe or Michelle), but I want to congratulate her. Angela, please ignore the stupidity of some people, like some posts on here...you'll find people eat up with jealousy everywhere you go. Keep up the good work!
