local kids win at dance competition

Several dancers from Ashley's Dance Academy in Seymour competed and won at the Stage One  Dance Competition.  The regional competition was held at the Gatlinburg Convention Center on Thursday, June 26th. 

The Petite East Tennessee Cloggers won High Score 1st Place in their division and 3rd Overall performing to "Ladies Choice."  The team members, ranging from 7 to 9 years old, are Marley Cantillo, Paige Clark, Madison Marsh, Leslie Clark, Victoria Porter, Kaylan Rogers and Emma Walker. 

Madison Marsh, 7, also won High Score 1st Place in her division and 1st Overall for her musical theatre routine to "I'm a Brass Band."
