Great to have you back in TN. I know both of your families are excited too. The Rice and Sims family go way back over 40 years. We all grew up in school and church together in Humboldt. Welcome Home!

You have received a true blessing in Pastor Sims. He is a genuine man of God. I am truly blessed in knowing him at Byne Memorial Baptist Church and will forever consider him a friend and a brother in Christ. He is truly missed by myself, Troy and the girls.

Is it true that the former pastor was involved with an underage teenage girl?

Pastor Sims and his wonderful family will be a blessing to VGBC! He has done so much for Byne and our family. He and Nancy fervently prayed for me when I was sick a few years ago. His messages led both of our young children to accept Christ and he baptized them. We thank God for what he has done for us through Pastor Sims.
