David C. Verble was re-elected president of Areawide Development Corporation at its annual meeting Tuesday, Sept. 18, at Egwani Farms Golf Club in Rockford.
Areawide Development Corporation markets and processes U.S. Small Business Administration Section 504 loans to small businesses in partnership with banks to help finance capital projects. Board members set ADC policy and approve loan applications.
Verble has served as president of Areawide Development since 2003 in addition to serving on the Board and Loan Review Committee for several years.
Verble is President and CEO of Citizens National Bank, headquartered in Sevierville which offers services in Sevier, Knox and Jefferson Counties. He has served on the Board of Citizens National Bank and CNB Bancshares, Inc., its holding company, since 1983. He is also chairman of the Capital Campaign Steering Committee for Fort Sanders Sevier's new hospital.
Verble received a degree in finance from the University of Tennessee in 1976 and is a 1983 graduate of Louisiana State University School of Banking
