SEYMOUR - The Village Quilters Quilt Guild will be displaying quilts created by their members during a show at Exquisite Quilting in Seymour.

The quilters also will demonstrate a variety of techniques used to make quilts.

The show and demonstration is scheduled for 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sat., Jan. 10, at the store, located at 12719 Chapman Highway. The show is open to the public, and admission is free. Light refreshments will be served, and visitors can register to win door prizes.

The Village Quilters, located in Loudon, Tennessee, was established in 1996 by Carole Spahn with a charter membership of about 10 members. Since then, it has grown to about 250 members, all dedicated to preserving the traditions, culture and history of quilting.
