Fifteen year local resident, Tammy Firanek has terminal bone cancer and needs the publics help.
She was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2006, had a mastectomy in 2007 and the cancer has now moved into her back.
Firanek has been on TnCare for the past 20-25 years and they have recently dropped her. She needs help with a bone scan and medical bills.
New Hope Good Shepard Clinic needs to have a bone scan for a current diagnosis to see what treatment is necessary for Firanek. Since the cost of the bone scan is out of the Firanek’s reach they are asking for the public’s help.
Firanek’s three children and husband are doing what they can even while Michael Firanek is disabled.
Several local businesses have placed jars for donations.
Please be kind this season and donate. For more information call 286-9536 ask for the Mike or Tammy Firanek.
