The Seymour High School International Club will be accepting contributions to their Haiti relief fund until Thursday.
Club members are collecting items for the Remote Area Medical that has a base in Knoxville. Remote Area Medical will then fly the supplies down for Haiti earthquake relief efforts.
The items the club is collecting for RAM are aspirin, ibuprofen/Tylenol, anti-diarrhea medication, anti-inch cream, Vaseline, Neosporin, Ace bandages, Ziplock bags, alcohol in plastic bottles, dish towels, eye drops, gauze pads, bandages and flashlights and headlamps with batteries.
All items can be brought to the high school’s front office.
Club sponsor Joyce McFall will be transporting the items to RAM on Friday, so all donations must be in by Thursday.
“RAM was something that was local and we knew that our donations would go straight to Haiti,” McFall said. “The contributions have really been a school wide effort.
“We welcome any help that the community can give us.”
