Arthur Blalock, Jr. age 70 of Sevierville, passed away Friday, July 3, 2009. He was preceded in death by his father, Arthur Blalock, Sr.; mother Anna Maples Blalock; brother Samuel C. Blalock; sister-in-law, Lois Blalock; brothers-in-law Oscar Dunn and Wayne Cogdill. Survivors: Loving wife: Jean Blalock Son: Mitchell Blalock and wife Kathy Siblings: Herb Blalock, Faye Dunn, Newell Blalock and Jan, Margaret Webb, Bonnie Cogdill Mother-in-law: Rose B. Manning Brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Roy “Cowboy” and Margaret “Sis” Miller, Kathy D. Manning, Billy and Frances Spoon, Bobby and Melinda Manning, William “Shorty” Manning, Benny and Sharon Manning Many special and loving family members including nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Funeral service 11 AM Monday in the West Chapel of Atchley Funeral Home with Rev. Edward Parton officiating. Entombment will follow in the Garden Mausoleum of Smoky Mountain Memory Gardens, Pigeon Forge. Pallbearers will be Joe Newman, Jimmy Blalock, Darrell Bradley, David Rogers, Bobby Spicer and Grant Dunn. Honorary pallbearers will be Roy “Cowboy” Miller, John Hulet Bradley and Benny Byrd.
