what's wrong with helping
No more lazy days of summer. It's time for students in Sevier County to grab those backpacks and head back to school.
"It's an exciting time," Greg Clark, principle at Seymour High School told me. "There's a lot of freshman coming to high school for the first time and they don’t know what to expect."
Schools were busy holding orientations and registrations last week and now the real thing is upon them.
Elementary schools and high schools are filled with eager students ready to learn.
"For the freshman, it’s good to let them get prepared for the new environment, it’s a lot bigger," says Mr. Haggard, one of two vice principals at the high school.
But it’s more of a challenge this year for all schools, facility, students, parents and even businesses due to the economy.
