Several Sevier County students spent the weekend of July 5th, 6th, 7th & 8th in Franklin Tennessee, a suburb of Nashville, competing in the National American Miss Tennessee Pageant.
Select state finalists were on hand to compete in different categories including Community Involvement, Personal Interview, Gown Competition and a Speech Competition.
State Finalists competed in several categories including Jr. Pre-Teen, Jr. Teen and Teen. Those competing included Kaytlin Franke of Sevierville, Kayli Ogle of Kodak, Savannah Ownby of Pigeon Forge, Whitney Ogle of Seymour, Rachel McFalls of Sevierville, Angela Karl of Seymour, Chelsea Cudak of Sevierville, Kayla Rapp of Seymour, Leah Parton of Seymour, Kara Tate of Kodak.
Chelsea Cudak walked away with the title of Most Promising Model and 2nd runner up in the Speech Competition. All girls did a great job and represented Sevier County well.
