NASHVILLE – The Minnie Pearl Cancer Foundation has added a toll-free number to provide greater access to its resources for cancer patients and their families and friends.
The telephone number is 877-467-1936, and there is no cost to use it.
Regardless of treating oncologist or facility, TMPCF on-site oncology social workers provide assistance with emotional and practical issues such as finances, lodging, and transportation free of charge in Tennessee.
TMPCF offers guidance and support to cancer patients and their families and friends as they navigate their way through the overwhelming diagnosis of cancer. Through grant funding from generous partners such as Baptist Healing Trust, the Lance Armstrong Foundation, the American Cancer Society, the Greater Nashville Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure and Kroger, TMPCF has been able to design and implement patient programs to assist with transportation, nutrition, psychosocial needs and health screenings.
The Minnie Pearl Cancer Foundation is a nonprofit public charity committed to funding programs that provide the greatest benefit to cancer patients and their families.
