Let’s get to know Brett Taylor…Originally from Kodak TN., Taylor graduated from Sevier County High School and Tusculum College. He’s quite the family man, husband of 24 years, father of two adult boys, and was active in girls and boys Pigeon Forge Youth Sports. Taylor is also involved in philanthropic endeavors. He donates his time to the Rotary Club of Seymour, Pigeon Forge Lions Club, and The Allocation Committee of the United Way.
Taylor arrived at Tennessee State Bank (TSB) nearly five months ago after a 9-year career in banking with a local competitor. When asked what it was about TSB that interested him about to the job, he replied, “It is a bank with a unique personal touch in Seymour’s closely knit community. TSB is a great community bank that offers growth opportunities to young people starting out as well as security to those retiring.”
Bank History…Tennessee State Bank (TSB) was founded in 1972 by a small grouped of Sevier County business people sharing the vision of promoting prosperity. In 2009, TSB’s successes lead the way to opening their 15th branch in East Tennessee, including Jefferson City, Newport, and the new branch in Knox County’s Turkey Creek Shopping Centers.
